Library

The library in the present-day seat finds from 1965. It makes accessible it’s resources for students and sciences from other faculties. The collection contains books mainly on Polish and general history, archival studies and auxiliary historical sciences. The most important works, Polish and foreign, deal with the history of West and East Prussia and Poland's relations with the countries of Northern Europe and Germany over the centuries. There are very interesting books and historical dissertations from the university in Königsberg (East Prussia). The total number of books and periodicals in the library is over 70,000. In the first part of library there are 4,000 sources, a lot of synthesis, encyclopedias and dictionaries (Incl. Internet and Xerox)

Research Laboratories and Equipment

The Institute has copying facilities, an audio-visual lecture hall and a number of personal computers.
